Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Almond Clusters
Worried about the dessert tray at a party? I bring these yummy dark chocolate sea salt almond clusters to a lot of parties, gatherings and other events where I might not want to participate in the dessert section provided. No one will turn down these delightful morsels and that way I feel like I am a part of the dessert tradition. I will also make a couple if I need a treat relief without bingeing.
Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Almond Clusters
Note: I wrote out this recipe without measurements because I want you to be able to understand the concept in order to make 2 or 20.
What you need:
Dark chocolate (preferable 70%)
almonds
sea salt (I like Malden sea salt)
Let’s Do This!
Melt chocolate in a double boiler with a tiny bit of coconut oil, constantly stirring so chocolate doesn’t burn (that’s a bad, bitter version!)
Next, mix in almonds to desired consistency
Lay parchment paper on cookie sheets, then scoop onto paper one spoonfull at a time. I use the back of a second spoon to slide the drops off of the first spoon.
Sprinkle sea salt onto drops, then allow to cool
Mix it up! Feel free to change up your nuts. Maybe a mix of your fav nuts and seeds? Enjoy :)
