Weekend Prep for the Sugar Detox
Get ready for the sugar detox by following this steps! A little bit of preparation now will make the transition so much easier.
First Steps
- Pack away the NO foods
- Stock up on an abundance of YES foods.
Meal Prep
Breakfast:
Prepare Life Saving Quiche and Paleo Sugar-Free “Granola”. You can even make 2 quiches and par-bake one to stick it in the freezer for later on. The “Granola” keeps well in an airtight container.
Snacks:
Hard-boil eggs, slice veggies, and gather almond butter, nuts, and avocado to have on hand.
Lunch:
Make either tuna or chicken salad. AppleGate farms makes excellent, sugar-free lunchmeat. Wrap with romaine lettuce to make a quick lunch.
Dinner:
Have a couple of dinners planned and make extra! Leftovers make a great lunch or snack. Make a couple of paleo sugar-free soups or slow cooker recipes and freeze to have on hand for later on in the week.
How I Stock Up
Dry Goods:
Almonds, Cashews, 2 cans of full-fat coconut milk, curry paste, coconut aminos, unsweetened almond milk, good quality sugar-free broth, almond flour, coconut flour, sugar-free salsa
