Berry Yummy Dairy Free Ice Cream

Berry Yummy Dairy Free Ice Cream

This recipe is so easy and is also a total crowd pleaser. I love making a batch of this for after a dinner with guess and for celebrations. It is a great use for those bananas that start to turn. I just peel and pop them into a ziplock bag to save for the occasion. Same with strawberries. You know how they like to turn from great to rotten quickly? I slice them up and throw them into the same ziplock with the bananas to be turned into delicious ice cream. Want more healthy recipes? Check out my whole foods and paleo meal plans!

Berry Yummy Dairy-Free Ice Cream

Ingredients:

3 sliced frozen bananas

2 ½ cups frozen berries

¾ Cup full fat coconut milk

½ Cup water

Let’s do this!

Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender or food processor. If using a blender, start on lowest settings and use the tamper. If the contents seem stuck add in a little more water. Keep blending until it is the consistency of soft-serve ice cream.

That’s it!

Serves 6

*Sidenote: It’s a lot easier on your blender if the strawberries are already chopped up rather than frozen whole. My favorite is raspberry/ strawberry combo.

Enjoy!
